First of all, you may introduce your band to the world.
Hi! For all the readers and members of industrialized metal site: we are Blood, a Spanish metal band with Spanish lyrics.

In the beginning you made heavy metal under the name "Captain Blood". Why did you decide to walk the industrial path?
The music we did in the past was not as important for us. We liked it, but we thought that this kind of music was not made for us. So, we looked for something different that we could feel inside of us. With the “new” sound of Blood we are very comfortable and we are very proud on it as well.

What bands did influence you in the elder times, and what are your main influences nowadays?
In the past we used to listen to bands like Metallica, Megadeath, Slayer, Aerosmith… and common. Nowadays, we listen and get our inspiration of industrial or gothic bands, like Oomph!, Covenant, Lacrimosa, Rammstein, etc.

You started off as a five piece, but currently you are acting as a trio. Did the two others left because they didn’t agree to go industrial? And will they be replaced, or will you continue as a trio?
The other Blood members left the band due to personal issues or jobs. It was hard to take Blood forward with just three people but now we think we are better than ever before and we have no intention of put another person in blood

Your new album called Psike received some good rating from our zine. What do you think of the album yourself?
We are very happy about the album! We think is a good work, made with a lot of illusion and suffer. We are very glad about you like our band! We think Psike is a good album, and catching step by step our own style. There is nothing we think it is en error for us in this album

How do the people in Spain reply on the debut? And what about the press?
For the moment it is having a good acceptation, although here in Spain industrial music is not a good known style. It seems that people is answering very good to the album and the shows. Some of the press (as your webzine do) is helping us a lot. Thanks to all of you.

According to your webpage your album suffered a long delay before its release. What happened?
There were several problems with second cd (the remixes cd), we had to turn it back to the factory and make it again. These was the big delay of some months of our album.

There are not much industrial bands from Spain known to me. How is the industrial scene over there?
There are not many industrial bands in Spain, and these are not having a good support. In Spain people are still just listening to classic heavy metal or rock and have some fear bout new sounds. So that we think we and all these industrial bands will have a better acceptation out of Spain. We hope Spain change a soon as possible.

What can we expect of Blood in the future?
We just want people could see that Psike has a lot of effort and could appreciate it.

Thanks for your time. If you have anything to add, you can do it here.
Thanks a lot to industrialized metal for your time. Thanks again to all the readers, and we would like to say that Psike is also available across Europe. Here you have some places where you can buy it.
