First of all, please introduce your band to the world.
Angy (vocals): Hi,world…we’re going to kill you
by stabbing to the fucking core; the bullets in our
weapons are “Progression to Impurity”(2000), “Vivere di
Male/The Evil within”(2002) and “HIV Parade”(2004).
We’ll fuck the planet with a knife up to the rectum.
The name Impure Domain has a cool sounding if you ask
me. How did you guys came up with the name?
Angy: Thank you, because I’m the one who chose
the name…in the beginning it deals more with anti-religious
concept, while now we like to imagine IMPURE DOMAIN as a
no-man’s land, infested by mutant bacteria, thickest gas
vapours, acid rains and rusted skies…
What bands are your main influences?
Angy: We think the influences are subconscious
and lot of them are extra-musical ones: books, movies,
any cultural sources; about our tastes in music, we
listen to many different genres: extreme metal,
electronica, punk ’77, soundtracks and so on…
Your latest release, HIV Parade, recieved excellent
ratings from our zine. But what do you think of that
album yourself?
Angy: We all consider “HIV Parade” our most
complete release ever: more complex song structures,
disturbing electro inputs, hysterik drum-machine, lyrics
inspired by W. Burroughs’ cut-up method, tones of the
apocalypse; it’s the cauldron containing the magmatic
lava of our weirdest visions…just think about it as a
lethal virus in veins that freezes & paralizes every
vital channel.
What are the main differences between HIV Parade and
the preverious releases?
Angy: It’s more cynic, sadistic, nihilist, colder
and clinical:the autopsy soundtrack for any hope in a
“better future”, he, he…
In my review, I stated that one of the things that
make Impure Domain special is the powerful guitar riffs.
Do you agree with this one? And what is your secret, how
do you manage to get almost every riff this powerful?
Angy: Well, thanks for your words… Xhela &
Psykoblaster have different way of composing; Xhela
usually starts with an electro-base & experimental,
dissonant riffings, while Psykoblaster is more death/black
metal oriented, so “the secret” ya’ve mentioned is the
alchemic combination of these two conceptions.
Various members of other Italian underground bands
told me that they have not good experiences with the
Italian underground scene. What are your experiences?
Angy: Well, we don’t really care so much about
having a “scene”…however, we’re in a brotherhood legacy
with Aborym & also support Hate Profile, Alien Vampires,
Hiems, No Forgiveness…
Now lets talk about your live show. Industrial black
metal usually gives some excellent live performances.
What can a stranger expect when he visits a live gig of
Impure Domain?
Angy: We haven't played a gig for 3 years,
because we live in different cities… however you must
expect to be raped and impaled, whipped by barbed wire
and pissed on… so you should better find other places,
hehe.
What can we expect of Impure Domain in the (near)
future?
Angy: Well, we’re composing new tracks, more
brutal, perverted in a psychopath’s way,
subliminal&fuckin’ acid; btw, the title of the new album
will be “RECTUM” & we’re looking for a label to promote
it all over the fucking planet, so you can contact us at
angyimpure@yahoo.it if interested.
The interview ends here, thanks again for your time.
If you have something to add you can do it here.
Angy: Thank you for this interview and the
review, we’re really honoured, man… then, greetings to
Odious, our Greek friend for his support and
press-working, hehe… visit www.myspace.com/impuredomain
or die. That’s all folks, REST IN PISS. HARD AS A KNIFE
UP TO THE RECTUM!!
