Hi, and thank you for your time. First, you can introduce your band to the readers.
Krell was born in November 2005, so a few months ago, and we wanted to aglutinate diffent ways of music saws under the technology prysma. Basically we are a stadium electro-rock-metal band...hehehe.

Now about the bandname. It has a cool sounding, but what the Hell does it mean? And why have you picked the name?
All three of us love 50's sci-fiction, and Krell is borrowed from a film called "Forbidden Planet" (1956). Krell was the civilization that controled that planet, a technologically very advanced civilization, like our music.

You have a lot of different influences according to the story on your MySpace. What made you decide to put this many elements into your music?
All of us came from different aspects when it comes to tastes of music. For example, Et_Heit comes out of the gothic scene, Ant_flaten comes from alternative metal and Mik_mothma from death and old school heavy metal. But all three of us have some common tastes like Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie, Ministry, Skinny Puppy and so on.

Your band operates under a certain image. How important is image for a band like Krell?
We think that music is entertainment, and like entertaitment you must give it ALL to your fans or audience.

Could you describe all the band members within just one word?
Et_Heit : Ethereus, Ant_Flaten: Melodicus, Mik_Mothma: Stravagantus.

You currently have a 4-track demo out. How are the responses on it?
People are having fun with it, and that's the most important thing of all. Soon we will perform the songs live too. Actually, we have two more songs so we have a total of six songs. More or less, 40 minutes of pure electro-rock-metal from space!

One of the songs is 'Fragile (Gary Numen adaptation)'. Tell me more about this song.
This song is a B-side song of Gary Numan's first band’s "Replicas" album ("Tubeway Army"). We like Gary Numan very much, he is one of the synth-pop precursors and the song is really easy to play and has a very powerfull feeling. Actually the song is not really a cover, the original song is about 2,30 minutes long and ours is more or less 4,30 minutes. We have added some extra guitar melodies and synths, so that is why we prefer to call it an adaptation.

The last few weeks I got in touch with some very different Spanish industrial bands like Blood, The New Flesh, Krell and Seven Icons. How is the industrial scene developed in Spain?
Really, there is no industrial scene here in Spain. Bands here are more traditional. Bands like ours are not very well seen because there are a lot of prejudices. We use technology but we are not a techno-dance band, and we use guitars and we are not a rock band...so people get confused about it.

What can we expect of you three in the future?
We want to become as big as Kiss!

The interview ends here, thanks again for your time. If you have something to add you can do it here.
Stay in tune with our myspace. Donwload our music from www.myspace.com/krellianweb. Thank you very much for all!
