For those that are unknown with Blood, tell us who you are, and how the band came into existence.
Javi: Blood are Jose (vocals and bass), Mado (drummer and technological sounds) and me (Javi, Guitar and chorus). We started around ten years ago under the name Capitan Blood, but when we changed our music style we decided also to change our name just into Blood. Nowadays we are promoting our third release.

How would you describe your music?
Javi: We describe it as industrial metal with some gothic and dark incluences. This is the music we usually listen to.

How would you describe the bandmembers of Blood with just one word?
Javi: Just one word? Would be hard... I think it is more easy to just call us hard working people.

You've just released your new E.P. called G.E.N. It recieved good rating from various press in Spain, but what do you think of the E.P. yourself?
Javi: We are very proud of G.E.N., it is another step for us. We think the sound of the band is a bit better from each album to the next. You can also hear that difference between the 0.08 ATM. album and the Psike album.

What are in your opinion the major progressions you've made on G.E.N. compared to the Psike album?
Javi: We think is has a better production, we have tried to do better samplers sounds. Also, Jose´s voice and the drums are harder.

What is in your opinion the best song and the best remix on the G.E.N. EP and why?
Javi: We have different opinions about that, for me, Nirvana is the best one. For the remixes I’d pick Ansia. Jose thinks Egos or Gotika are better, and he would also pick the Ansia remix as his favourite. Mado clearly prefers Egos and Ctrler Remix.
In general we like all remixes and of course our new three songs.

The EP didn't got released on GOI Music but on Rompiendo Records. Why did you decide to change labels? Had some problems with GOI Music?
Javi: When the cd was ready to be released, GOI Music told us to change the conditions we agreed some time ago. We thought these new conditions weren´t good for us, so we looked for a different label: Rompiendo Records. GOI Music still does the distribution of G.E.N. at big stores, but the album was released by Rompiendo Records.

According to your biography, your live show must be a real adventure for the audience. What can a stranger expect when he visits a live show of Blood?
Javi: It is a mix between music and theatral performance, it is 50% each. Our image at shows is very important for us. We would like that even deaf people enjoys them.

What kind of people do you usually found in your audience?
Javi: It used to be industrial/dark/gothic people, but at the current G.E.N.etic Tour we also see heavy metal people, hardcore people, etc. It is a really good thing for us.

What are your other passions next to music? And how does your life look like outside of the band?
Javi: We have many different passions. Jose and Mado really like motorcycles, but also reading, films, japanese culture, PSP and pets, On the other side, I enjoy playing all kinds of sports, soccer, films, internet, traveling, etc., the list is endless.
Outside of Blood, we all have a common life like everybody. Blood is our help to run away from this monotone world.

What can we expect of Blood in the near future?
Javi: We are currently on the G.E.N.tic Tour to promote our latest release, and we are trying to get some dates outside Spain... Italy, France, the Netherlands, Germany... and we would love to go back to Portgual! On the other side we must continue promoting G.E.N. until we record our next album.

Thanks for your time answering the questions. If you have anything to add, you can do it here.
Javi: Thanks a lot for you time and support. If anyone wants to listen to our music, check our websites www.bloodblood.com and www.myspace.com/bloodwebsite. Greetings from Blood to all Industrilized Metal Readers.
