As most of their music AIMA
were the result of a set of many different requirements.
The combo started as a no-longer punkrock/school band,
known as milkplus, which used to mix several rock and
H.C. influences together with some weird parts, that can
still be considered as a milkplus' outline in the band's
sound. The core of today’s AIMA began to form when a new
drummer (Il Puro) joined the long-time vocalist Sara and
new guitarist .ilsegugio. starting to develop the
ferociously odd structures that affected AIMA since the
beginning. When Gnagnotech joined the band, another
pillar was set, out of the two-guitar arrangement and
the dub and drum machine parts that contributed to
characterize the early development of the new sound.
With polish bass player Sebastian the band obtained a
long-time pursued balance in the line-up, and started
their self-operated professional recording studios, in
which they recorded their first six-piece EP Promo 2006.
AIMA is currently dealing for the distribution of its
first self-produced full-length, that’s going to hit the
streets within the end of 2007.
