First of all - can you introduce yourself and your band to us?
Yes. I'm Kasstrick Shown from Japan. I am in charge of a vocalist and a guitar and programming of KASSTRICK BACTERIA. We´re a Japanese industrial metal Band, active since October 2007. I am proud to be a Japanese - and hope for activity in the whole world.

Could you describe your opinion and/or views on racism within 1-5 words?
I´d rather give a small explanation. I dislike the racial discrimination basically. I wish all the people become equal regardless of "a race" and "sex".

What are your views on your own country when it comes to racism? Bad? Worse? Not thát bad? Please explain.
For example, a foreigner. In Japan, there is little racial discrimination against foreigners. I consider "a labor wage" and "discrimination against employment" to be the only discrimination. Their wage service is worse than a Japanese. Because if it is a foreigner, they cannot employ you. I see discrimination in it. The feeling of the side to employ thinks, but thinks that I am strange.

It seems some kind of sick ´trend´ these days to bring racism into alternative music, referring to terms such as 'nazi-punk', 'NSBM' and 'right-winged electro'. What are your views on this? Do you think it will become dangerous?
Uuh... Yes. The expression of singing is free, but thinks that it is dangerous to sing the criticism of other countries. However, I think that the CD of the criticism can be sold if the dictatorship in the other countries is the dissatisfaction of the citizen.

Did you witness any racist things during local gigs, festivals, etc? Would you reject an offer to play a show together with an outspoken right-winged band?
No, never witnessed such a thing in Japan. In Japan, the Japanese enjoys the show together with the foreigner. I don't want to perform with a right wing band, I think that has a difference.

Have you ever been discriminated in the metal scene outside of Japan for beeing Asians?
No. It's mostly on the contrary - people are interested in a Japanese! However, I think it's different by area.

Is there a lot of racism in the local metal scene over there?
No. The metal bands from the foreign countries are always welcome in Japan. However, Japanese people don't swallow if the performance level is low...
