[DIGI]core play a mix of metal, industrial and punk designed to liquify the inner ear and leave the audience reeling.Formed in 2006 in York, [DIGI]core quickly proved themselves on the local live circuit by winning the York Barfly battle of the bands. With regular local press coverage and successful shows York soon fell to their onslaught and they turned their attention towards the rest of the UK. Wider exposure has since been achieved with gigs nationwide including two festival appearences. The debut album ‘Synaptic Decay’ was released in Jan 2007 and distributed at gigs and online. This release has gone on to receive positive reviews in local press and online, and airplay on local BBC stations. n October 2007 work was started on the next album with the intention of achieving mass distribution worldwide. [DIGI]core intend to keep playing shows all over the country and bringing their brand of sonic chaos to the world.
