Could you provide us some basic info about your band?
Hi! We are Blood Out' (formely known as Blood) from Spain. We started playing metal industrial in 2000 after some changes from our past way of playing.
Why did you exactly pick this track to appear on the compilation?
We think it is a hard song that will fit perfectly at the F**ck Em All volume IV. It is also one of Seppuku's singles.
How important is and has the internet been for your band?
It is very important fot Blood Out'. It has helped us with our promotion - as much inside as outside Spain. It is certain that it has its disadvantages, but it helps a lot in the promotion section.
What are the views upon the local music industry in your native country?
In Spain the music industry as it is knwon doesn't exist. Rock, punk and metal are all in indie labels and the main labels are just interested in those young people that appear on TV programs... For industrial music it is even worse. There aren't almost any indie labels interested in this genre although there are a lots of people who enjoy listening industrial, gothic, etc.
And what about the rest of the world?
It is different, they are more open minded that us (Spanish lables, shops,..). We see countries as Germany or Finland and it is amazing how labels are proud of metal bands and they appear on tv, magazines...
How do you see the role of the record labels in the music industry in about 10 years?
It is going to disappear, physical CD's will be just for collectors in the end - as it happens now with vinyls. Music will be just send trought the internet. What is sure is that musicians will never die. Just the big mafias who control the industries.
What are your opinions on the Industrialized Metal Webzine and Death To Music Productions?
We are very proud to be helped by the Industrialized Metal Webzine and Death to Music Productions. There should be a lot of webzines and labels like yours to help out new bands to get heard out there. We are glad to collaborate with you.
Do you have some final words to add?
Just want to say thank you for the time you spend in Blood Out' and the "space" you give us to show out our band and music. WeŽd like also to animate everybody to visit our space and web to know the band; bloodblood.es & myspace.com/bloodwebsite .
