Could you provide us some basic info about your band?
We are a band named Chrisallys from Argentina. The band was born in 2004, and our sound is a mixture of darkwave, gothic, indstrial and metal.
Why did you exactly pick this track to appear on the compilation?
Well - it is really an energetic song, and it takes a very interesting topic that affects a lot of people nowadays... loneliness. It will be the first cut in the album, and the first video.
How important is and has the internet been for your band?
Crucial at this time. With MySpace, Fotolog, Facebook and the official website itself, is more than 80 % of the promotion!
What are the views upon the local music industry in your native country?
It is growing... but within this style we need more support and opportunities. I believe we have great bands, but a lack of support.
And what about the rest of the world?
Europe and the U.S.A. are constantly growing, and now Japan as well. But I feel tides are turning, and South-America is a bit ahead than were it was before.
How do you see the role of the record labels in the music industry in about 10 years?
I really think its a complicated moment now for CD labels, but I really support it still, even I think that the future is on the internet.
What are your opinions on the Industrialized Metal Webzine and Death To Music Productions?
We really love the way you work, you are very profesional, and serious in what you do, and I hope you grow constantly with the years.
