Could you provide us some basic info about your band?
We are Heritech based out of the United States. We originally formed as a duo at the very end of 2004. We currently perform a blend of the more extreme genres of metal with symphonic flourishes and industrial touches.

Why did you exactly pick this track to appear on the compilation?
Our newest release Prophecy: The Apocalypse Enigma is a conceptual piece but "Adventum Rebellionus" is a good representation of the band's many elements. It has heavy guitars, pounding synthetic sounds, a variety of vocals and much more.

How important is and has the internet been for your band?
It's been a crucial tool in the expansion of Heritech. Not only for promotion and communication but also extremely important to the programmed portions considering the software we use.

What are the views upon the local music industry in your native country?
Our local scene sports a small handful of promising acts. In particular Estuary and Conspirators of the Occult We believe there's a lot of untapped potential and hope to be an inspiration to other bands around us.

And what about the rest of the world?
As far as the music industry goes it's something that we're slowly becoming more and more familiar with. We're an ambitious band and realize the importance of the business side of the process and plan to turn this necessity to our advantage.

How do you see the role of the record labels in the music industry in about 10 years?
Extremely important for most artists. As of now Heritech has done all writing, recording, promotion and even the artwork and production ourselves. But we do realize as the band grows the outside help of a record label will become a more and more crucial component of Heritech.

What are your opinions on the Industrialized Metal Webzine?
We were very surprised when we first stumbled upon the site a long time ago considering there's not much of an awareness for real extreme metal with industrial and electronic elements. We're very influenced by a lot of acts that have helped outline this sound and are honored to help support it.

Do you have some final words to add?
There's a lot in the works for Heritech right now, this year will have us stepping up to the next level. Check out our new CD, "Prophecy: The Apocalypse Enigma" and visit our Myspace at: www.myspace.com/heritechspace
