Could you provide us
some basic info about your band?
Techny-Call X was created in the year of 2005. Coming
from France under a biomechanical concept, we decided to
mix instrumental organic parts with electronic parts
reinforced by samples. TCX is mainly defined as a dark
Metal/Electro/Indus band.
Why did you exactly pick this track to appear on the
compilation?
'Disconnected' is a new track extract of our new album
coming soon. This track shows the sound evolution of TCX.
How important is and has the internet been for your
band?
Internet is a good tool for promotion and for
development. It's great to be able to be in contact with
the world staying behind a simple monitor. We use it for
the band to send music and artwork data files.
What are the views upon the local music industry in
your native country?
Due to pear to pear software and the copy of cds, the
selling of cd keeps growing down. This implicate a
regression of the local industry.
And what about the rest of the world?
I think it's the same.
How do you see the role of the record labels in the
music industry in about 10 years?
I don't believe they will exist in the form we know. I
guess the musical world will change and i haven't any
idea about the part they'll take in this evolution.
What are your opinions on the Industrialized Metal
Webzine?
I like the new one : simple and efficient like a sort of
Industrial music!
