MEKANIKA is an argentinian (South America) band,who started under the name of TRIGGER in the '99 as a duo , reaching the year 2006 with the actual 4 members. In the year 2000 , the band released his first production called "NEURAL". ( It was an EP with 7 songs and an interactive track. That same year, TRIGGER goes to Mexico to sell that first EP through the mexican independent label "Quintana Roo XXX" who edit that material. In the following year (2001), 2 members went to U.S.A. to make contacts with other bands and labels from California and Texas and to sell "NEURAL" in an independent way staying there for two years... In september 11th of 2004, MEKANIKA released in his own country his first full album called "MILENIO 3" with 11 songs and an interactive track... it was the conmemoration of the 11-S ... The year 2005 brought the second full CD of MEKANIKA called "2.0.1.0.". The band released this material in october of '05. "2.0.1.0." contains 13 songs and 4 bonus tracks making a 17 tracks production. Their first DVD was released in 2007 "Live In Babylon-DVD". Contains 2 shows filmed in 2006 and in the extras section you can find interviews with the members, new live songs and a mini-documentary of the band. The band , in all those years was playing his Industrial Alternative Rock all over. The four productions were made by his own TRIGGER INDUSTRIES. Now, MEKANIKA is leaving TRIGGERs name behind and playing constantly in his own country and neighbors and working on his new album... The spirit remains... stronger than ever.
