28 - 11 - 2008: New interviews + site news and updates |
|
|
Again - we pasted two more freshly licked interviews into our webzine for your enjoyment. History of Guns from the U.K. took the time to answer our questions about their latest album 'Acedia', and Chrisallys all the way from Argentina offered us an exclusive view into their band, upcoming album and the Argentine scene. Check them out both!
As well, we made some more progression with the band profiles. Next to the preveriously mentioned sections (A-G, J, Q, U, X and Y) that were fixed already, we've now got the sections H, I and S all fine and working. As well, we started planning an anti-racism special for next year, which looks like it's going to kick some asses. Stay tuned!

24 - 11 - 2008: New interviews! |
|
|
We are happy to present you two very interesting new interviews. Brazil's Embrioma was more than happy to explain everything about their band, their live shows and the Brazilian scene, while Hydra from the U.K. shared their explanations upon their music and lyrics with us. Read both, very interesting interviews by going to the 'interviews' section, or just click the earlier mentioned bandnames over here.
On another note, as promised we started working on the band profiles. So far, the sections A-G, J, Q, U, X and Y are already fully updated, including a bunch of new to be discovered bands. Go check it out!

14 - 11 - 2008: "F**k 'Em All" vol. 3 NOW avaible! |
|
|
The Industrialized Metal Webzine and the already nearly legendary Death To Music Productions are proud to present you volume 3 of the wellknown 'F**k Em All' compilation series! And yes, just like the other two - this one is completely FREE as well!
Again - this compilation gives a good view of the yet unknown though high quality bands in the industrial metal underground scene. Do you dare to listen to the black gothic darkness provided by Romanian Attractor and the French Tenebrarum Infanteus? Or would you like some more doomy influenced stuff such as Backdoor Syndicate (all the way from Moldova!), or American duo ZS Concept? Also from the States, we have some very interesting submissions by vegan solo project FluiD (Godflesh worship!) and the more accessable Cynergy 67. You want it more extreme? We bring you a crazy cyber metal track of Swedish A.N.T.I. and a hardcore metal vs. drum'n'bass track by The Bombs of Enduring Freedom! And once again, it comes with free killer artwork that you can print to complete your handmade physical CD!
Download the compilation by clicking on the banner, and read the band interview (as well links to the MySpace profiles) here.

As we did with the preverious two compilations, we'll be publishing some feedback given by the people to us on our page! So - we're waiting for your feedback! Don't hesitate writing us!
On a side note - we'll be updating the page next week again with new reviews (Glaukom Synod, Techny-Call X, Visioni Gotiche and Miksha) and possibly a new interview as well - so keep an eye on the page. As well, we'll start working more intensively on bringing back the band profiles, which should give some results relatively soon as well. Want to join our staff? We're looking for an extra reviewer to be added to our team! Interested? Read this!

13 - 03 - 2008: DEADCELL signs with Urgence Disk Records |
|
|
The second DEADCELL
studio album 'STATE OF FEAR' will be released by
the Swiss label Urgence Disk Records on APRIL
30th 2008. Urgence Disk Records is home of BAK
XIII, Dolls of Pain and many more.
Marcus Bodine states that : "The new album
contains a heavy mix of old-skool
Industrial/Metal, progressive dark electro and
soundtrack/classical influences. Definitely a
record of extremes. We did some try-out shows
with the new songs, and the response was really
good. The sound, production & composition of
this album are really mature without losing the
'underground feel'. The translation of the songs
to a live situation is what makes this album
really special. Every song tells its own story,
which made it possible for us to take the music,
dance & visuals to a whole new level."
Before the official release, a number of
previews will be published at
www.myspace.com/deadcellband. |

22 - 02 - 2008: "F**k 'Em All" NOW
avaible! |
|
|
After years of working with the Industrialized
Metal Webzine, one thing clearly became clear:
there are many, many great bands out there, but
hardly anyone of them gets the chance to get
their music heard on a proper way. Labels hardly
pay attention to give them a chance, and if they
do they base their contracts on money-making
terms for the industry. Because it is our
opinion that bands don't need money-loving
record labels these days to get their music
heard (how we love the internet!) we teamed up
with our friends for Death To Music Productions
to end up in the release of industrial metal
compilations. All of them are to be downloaded
for free on DTM's page, and all the bands are
interviewed on the Industrialized Metal Webzine.
Check out the MEDIA
section to read the interviews and download the
compilation for free! |
