PSIONIC - a unique symphonic cyber-metal band formed by vocalist Robert Nusslein, bassist/keyboardist Gary Miranda, guitarist Mike Pardi, and drummer Ariel Alvarado. Psionic's style is unmatched, providing to the listener furious guitars, haunting keys and synths, and mezmerizing vocal performances. In 2004 Psionic self-released their debut full length album titled "Nu-Tech Cyber Sorcery." Ranging from dark to melodic, aggressive to epic, "Nu-Tech..." truly exploded onto the metal scene displaying Psionic's ability to disturb the universe. "Nu-Tech..." was reviewed in the following magazines: Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles, Industrial Nation, Explicitly Intense, and HighWire Daze and also in online web-zines Whiplash.net, metalcoven.com, metal-observer.com, and metal-invader.com. 2005 brought Psionic's second release "Manifest." A showcase of the band's music and dedication over the last 5 years, "Manifest" included 3 brand new songs, 2 songs from "Nu-Tech..." and 2 songs from a 2000 demo CD-R that was only released in limited quantities. By summer of 2005, Psionic completed new material which was ready for performance and recording. The new songs were turning out far superior to anything on the previous releases. The band performed some of the material live at two major shows: Gothicfest 2005 (Chicago, IL)- an all day event that featured some of the best, Gothic, Dark Symphonic, Hardcore, and Industrial bands in the U.S. Therion (Hollywood, CA) - The Swedish bands' first US tour. 2006 will prove to be the most successful year for Psionic, as more than enough new material has been prepared to gain label interest. With orchestral arrangements added to the song writing, Psionic's music has taken on a new form, rivaling major motion picture soundtracks. This coupled with the use of synths and electronics creates a style and atmosphere that will set new standards for the American metal scene.
