...And Oceans is one of the leading bands in the
industrialized metal scene. These Finnish Gods released
their A.M.G.O.D. album in 2001. I bought it, and it blew
my mind away.
From the first song until track eight (track nine is
some kind of bonus remix without any metal), A.M.G.O.D.
sounds like an unstoppable terminal industrial machine.
The excellent drums sound very ‘one’ with the guitar
riffs and the dance industrial samples. Songs like
‘Intelligence Is Sexy’ and ‘Tears Have No Name’ are
still forcing me to abuse the ‘repeat’ button on my
stereo. ...And Oceans is a great band, and A.M.G.O.D. is
a fucking masterpiece!
