Artist: MACHINERIE
PERFECT
Album: Exotic Dark Matter
Year: 2004
Yes, industrial metal is everywhere! Even in Latvia:
Machinerie Perfect is doing their industrial black metal
thing over there. And, this trio doesn't do it that
badly I must say. Exotic Dark Matter is their first
release which is worth mentioning. They self-released it
in 2004.
After the almost one minute intro, the war starts with
Post Military Demarche. Chaotic industrial black as old
school as it can be in this pretty new genre. This album
has the same concept in every song, although I must
confess that all songs sound different from eachother.
Songs like "Islam911" (does it have a political message?)
and "Hellraiser" are worth pressing the repeat button,
and the black metal guitar riffs don't get boring which
I normally have against industrial black metal bands.
Well, what more can I say about this band? Call it a mix
between Revenge and Aborym if you want, I just call it a
decent debut album. Contact the band on machinerie@cc.lv
if you are interested!
