Artist: CARRIER FLUX
Album: In Waste
Year: 2002
After the pretty surprising debut album “Introspective
Nightmare”, Jeff strikes back again with his solo
project ‘Carrier Flux’. A new record deal and 11 new
tracks released upon mankind.
The first song already tells us that Carrier Flux has
found another way. The brutality has almost dissapeared
and the cold, more technical black metal has stepped
forward. ‘In Waste’ is mostly filled with some midtempo
black industrial metal with lots of clean vocals. Doom
and dark metal influences are still clearly hearable.
Jeff has experimented little more with gothic music as
well, which are good from time to time. Track by track
reviews for albums like these are pretty useless in my
opinion, so I think I will leave it by this. Many
differences compared with the debut, but in the end I
cannot really say which one is better. So, an equal
score.
