Artist: PAIN
Album: Nothing Remains The Same
Year: 2002
Pain needs no more introduction. The industrial project
of Peter Tägtgren has already delivered two records,
before Nothing Remains The Same came out in 2002.
I placed the album in the cd player, and I recognised
the typical Pain sound immidiately. Pretty powerful,
danceable songs and clean vocals is again the chosen
recepy for Nothing Remains The Same. Nothing special,
but damn catchy and good listenable. But, as I mentioned
in reviews of preverious records, after half an hour it
gets a bit boring. Not that the last songs are bad,
definetly not, but there just is not a lot of variation.
If you ask me, this album sounds almost the same as
Rebirth, with the note that Peter has developed this
project on a more mature way. I should rate this album a
little over average score. Oh, and the Eleanor Rigby
cover (Beatles) is a masterpiece.
