Artist: VOID
Album: Posthuman
Year: 2003

VOID is an surprise from the United Kingdom and it plays some nice and way to cool black metal industrial in the vein of their Norwegian colleagues Red Harvest. Void consists of members who played in like Zyklon, Aborym and Seth.

When I listen to the song Cypher it amazes me the sound and electronics but in a way this song look a likes at some Red Harvest song I know but it not an Red Harvest clone at all these Englishmen have their own nice music style and I like them. After the good song Cypher I arrived listening to Neutron Flux and this song amazed me because it has an combination of death screams and between them some nice sick roman clean texts but in an darker way I like that in their style. Pathogen Bombshell reminded me listening to Prometheus of Emperor nice good death/black screams with nice computerised vocals in between and good guitar riffs, due they only have drum programming the song is quite listenable and doesn’t get bored at all. The song Syndrome has some drum and bass influences hear able at the drum programming but in the sense that is not bored with nice guitars and bass the song is absolutely good, and with the death/black vocals of the songs this suits best by them. With an nice intro of the song Future Horror Aura and some nice guitar riffs they amazed me even with the electronics they surprised me though they have an familiar death vocals with Zyklon its is nice to hear an small evolution of their way. Sulphur Horror Sickness is in my opinion an sequel to Future Horror Aura. Zero Signal Pattern is an song most like to the rest of the songs on the album nice electronics and good guitars to negative comment about that. Posthuman, the title of the album and of the song is the last song of the album and it has some really nice guitars on it no doubt about it, I like the mid tempo of the song with nice electronics and good programming. What all songs have in common that they have some dark ambient outro’s wich I like because I like ambient since I make ambient. To bad they don’t have an real drummer but hey we can’t have it all right check these guys out they have very good potential even as their Norwegian colleagues Red Harvest which I also like
