Why bother to introduce Samael, when everybody knows
this band? Some people like them, some people hate them,
but it's a fact that they have created an own, typical
sound through the years. Start: black metal. Finish:
industrial. Finally after five years, they released
something new upon mankind. Reign Of Light is the given
name to this 11-track piece.
Compared to the preverious album, this album sounds more
developed. There is more variation, and somehow the
vocals match better than on Eternal. The danceable
rhytms mixed with the cold synthesizers make this album
to a good one. I love the song Telepath: on this song,
Samael managed to find an excellent mix between cold,
danceable music and power. Well, some final words I hear
you ask? If you liked Eternal, you will love Reign Of
Light. Like me.
