Artist: THE WICKED
Album: Sonic Scriptures Of The End Times Or Songs
To Have Your Nightmares With
Year: 2004
When I was at a local store, I found an album with a
strange description on it. "Industrial black folk
soundtrack metal!" was on the label, so I became curious.
What I found was something I could not imagine before.
This band plays a strange, but cool mix of Avernum and
Finntroll, with the intro's of lots of Mortician songs.
The parts are chaoticly overflowing in eachother. The
vocals are cool black metal ones. Thing I got against
this album: the longer it takes, the more it gets bored.
From track one until track four I liked it, but
afterwards it is getting 'too much'. This is a band that
if they release an EP with a couple of songs, I shall
buy it immidiately but a whole album is too much for me.
