Artist: DEATHSTARS
Album: Synthetic Generation
Year: 2003

This Swedish band is entitled as 'Kovenant-wannabee' by a lot Kovenant fans. I myself am a huge Kovenant fan as well, but I didnt knew Deathstars that well. I bought the album and wrote this review.

When I listen to the album, I defenately hear lots of Kovenant influences. But, I wouldnt call this band a Kovenant ripp off. Deathstars defenately have developed an own style, which I should describe as 'a mix between The Kovenant and Oomph!' Songs like Synthetic Generation and Syndrome are just great and the repeat button has lots of work with this record. Good album, cannot wait to hear more of this band!
