Artist: TESTIFY
Album: Triviality Beyond Acceptance
Year: 2001

In 1993 in Essen, Germany Testify formed the band members including Rascal Nikov and Myk Jung came to the group from The Fair Sex, Moses W., Eddie Logan, George McKinley, and Mathias Black. Their previous releases include 01, Ballroom Killer mixed by Ministry crew Keith "fluffy" Auerbach and Howie Beno, Mmmyaoooo, Crack of Mind has mixes by Die Krupps,Die Warzau and Plastic Noise Experience. The bands influences includes bands such as NiN, Ministry, Rammstein, Die Krupps, KMFDM, Skinny Puppy, and White Zombie.

First track, "White Skinned Heroine", has a strong steady beat through out entire track. The vocals are very strong and has a very energetic quality to it. Next track, "Fragile Puppet", begins with an electronic sound before diving into the heavy guitar and guttural screams and powerful vocals. The eerie spoken part adds a creepiness to it as well as the guttural speaking and moaning before ending the track with another eerie speaking. Third track, "Grinning Sun", begins with a pure noise sound that you can easily be thrown into strong vocals with an almost strained sound that accompanies the music perfectly. Next track,” Invisible Hell (Plump sack)”, begins with the sounds of children then a bit of an industrial sound. The track itself still powerful but a bit slower, wonderfully composed. The sounds of children as well as slower guttural parts and a great creepy blend to this track. The fun ending is perfect for this track. Fifth track, "Abuser's Gabble", the quotes from Armstrong and screams blend well. The guitars are very strong in this track as well as the vocals being poured into the mix of guitars. The drums which were strong throughout become forceful towards the end a great ending. Sixth track, "The Entanglement Of Sexus", the beginning is almost mellow sounding followed up with strong guitar and vocals. The bass seems to be a bit more prominent perfectly placed gutturals. This track does and amazing job of combining the mellow with the hard strong beats. Seventh track, "Karl Found Out: The Definition", great sounds literally giving the definition a brilliant idea for a track. Following track, "Braindead Friction", has a very powerful raw beginning that grabs hold and doesn’t let go. Spoken clips add to the rawness and strength of this track a very well composed track. Ninth track, "the Seed of Wrath", the opening clip says it all its strong and the rough and strong sound quality makes your sense feel as if you are falling into chaos. Vocals changing completes the track, amazing. Next track, "Dumb/numb/Gun", the industrial beginning mixed with a deep vocal speaking before being thrown into the drums and guitars a beautiful composed upbeat and forceful. Last track, "Under the Cold Moon", almost an eerie mass sound as the beginning followed by guitar powerful yet muted. The vocals keep with the flow an almost scary sound wraps around this track. The female vocal in this track makes it feel almost like a black mass. By the end of the track you have a mellowed out feel this track is almost trance inducing.

This album is a refreshing sound to it a different sound to each track, but keeping true to the rough raw and strong beats and vocals. This is a band I cant wait to hear what they come out with next.
