Artist: DIVISION ALPHA
Album: The Dekta Release -- Fazium II
Year: 2002
One of the purest industrialized metal bands has to be
Division Alpha from France. This duo combines pure
industrial with pure metal, which is very unique. The
Dekta Release is their second full lenght album.
First thing that I noticed was the beautiful artwork.
But, because the music is what it's all about, I decided
to put the cd in the cd player and gave it a listen. And
the sound what has reached my ears can best be described
as an eargasm. Wonderful sampling mixed with a raw
guitar sound, which results in a lot of power without
becoming cyber (boom-boom-boom). The vocals are filled
with sorrow, which really fits with the music (the voice
reminds me to Samael from time to time). Also a big '+'
of this album is the variation, even though this is a
concept album (or am I wrong on this one?). Anyway,
these two Frenchman can be called the da Vinci and the
Edison of this industrialized metal generation if you
ask me! Get this one as soon as possible!
