Germany's OOMPH! is already active for many years, and
they got a good reputation in their native country.
After the big hit 'Augen Auf' they got famous worldwide
in 2004. Unrein is released eight years before, in 1996.
After the (pretty useless in my opinion) intro, the
album starts the way I am used to with this band. Great
powerful guitars mixed with kinda agressive and
factorial industrial samples. The vocals sound in the
beginning a bit weird, but after a while you get used to
it and you appreciate it. Well, at least I do. I cannot
find any bad songs on this record, but there are a few
songs who rock the night away. 'Unseren Rettung' and 'Gekreuzigt'
are masterpieces on this great record. Where are you
waiting for? Get this record!
