Artist: X-TRACTOR
Album: Weissglut
Year: 2009

X-Tractor is a one man project based in Germany, lead by Marzo, who takes care of the writing, producing and performing of all related to X-Tractor. As far as my information goes, this six-track EP ‘Weissglut’ is the very first release.

First track, “Prelude”, is a schizofrenic and kinda spastic intro. Second track, “Weissglut”, has Rammstein likely riffing and vocal lines, as well a recogniseable and repetative synth line and bashing strong programinch. The track overall is pretty catchy. Third track, “Schock Therapie”, has a very mesmerizing start followed by hard guitar blending in perfectly with drums and synthesizer. The vocals big in a harshness that sets the track off, ending on a high note that wraps it all up. The next track, “System Absturz”, starts with an eerie start that has you feel dread guitars follow to taunt your feelings of anxiousness even further. Vocals are deep and slow, adding in warped vocal clips to complete the eeriness of the track before fading out quietly. Fifth track, “Primitiv & Radikal”, has a very epical start before throwing in some drumbeats and hard edged guitars. Vocal disortation is added in at the perfect moment with the well composed musical. The end is more of an alien sound than the start but very well concluded. Last track, “German = Lunatic”, is mostly electronic based and very danceable. It’s an all instrumental outro.

I found this to be very well put together the production was amazing and the blending of different sounds make this worth while listen.
