Splitmind was formed in 2004 by two founding members : Sebas (guitars), Stas (voice). When the material has been settled, the search of bass player began. Soon bass player Alina took place in the band. Summer 2005 band’s old friend Max was invited to help with upcoming shows as a drummer. After a few months band made their first demo in Matrix studio. Next six months splitmind has gigs both on small and at greater stages like Rockcafe and Rakvere Sport Hall. After a while Max left the band, so guys deceided to make some experiments with synths and drum machines. The first long expected performance took place in “Rockstars”club. There wasn’t drummer, on a stage there were only two guys and girl, who was moshing along the show with drum machines. This performance definitely has made a notice. Band had their first fans and splitmind has quickly borrowed it’s niche. Next step was work on a new material with synths and samples. Unexpectedly Alina deceided to quit the band, so two founding members started to search for a talented musicans. Spring 2007 dude called Trip was invited to join Splitmind as a drummer. Fortunately search of bass player doesn’t take a lot of time, one month later bass player called C.K. was invited to join the band. In 2007 splitmind has gigs on the summer festivals, recorded first video for ‘bawitdaba”, same year band went to the studio to record their first EP. After a hard work on songs and mixing, has been issued their first Album : Blackform
