Could you provide us some basic info about your band?
Well, we are from Argentina, our music is a mixture between 80's dark gothic, modern dark wave, metal and industrial. We have been in the dark, gothic, industrial scene for more than 7 years now. The band was born in 2003, as a side project of my former band, Skinmask. We've released 2 albums already, the first one REBORN in late 2004 and this second one SACRED FIRE in september 2009, both of them originally released by Twiglight Records, a gothic label in Argentina. Lately we've been playing a lot in our country and Uruguay, and have been interviewed all over the world, and supperted bands like Hocico, Theatre of Tragedy and soon the 69 eyes, in September this year!

Why did you exactly pick this track to appear on the compilation?
Because it is the track of our new video "Breed of Cain", its a song we particularly like, and has a big meaning for us, a song about a new era, a different way of seeing things, and has a religious connnotation too, is based originally on The Vampire's gospel, that I found particularly interested to read at the time.

How important is and has the internet been for your band?
Nowadays is the basic support for the band, and I think for any band in the undergroud scene. Anyway, we are planning to extend that to the TV, that is very important. A band is not well known until it conquers the internet and TV. Therefore, besides the phisical album, we've recently released our second album " SACRED FIRE" on an Argentinian web label "DONT PAY MUSIC" with free download, for everyone to be able to reach our music as far as we can... and this is the link to do that: http://www.dontpaymusic.com/chrisallys/.

What are the views upon the local music industry in your native country?
It is very competitive, there are many bands, but very few are connected with what we do, luckily the last couple of years that has improved, but it is an underground scene and sometimes it is really hard to keep on track, and it is ecplipsed by foreing bands that perhaps have much more press, and there shows are more expensive... so well, you have to prove yourself rightous as a musician and as an artist.

And what about the rest of the world?
I think there is a crisis, specially in the media, not as deep as in South America, but there is... the really good bands are hidden and have no access to mainstream, but still its easier in certain countries to develop your carrier as a musician.

How do you see the role of the record labels in the music industry in about 10 years?
I think the internet is growing stronger, but the fact that people always ask for the phisical album when we go to shows or in record stores, makes me think that there is a chance for physical CDs yet.

What are your opinions on the Industrialized Metal Webzine and Death To Music Productions?
I dont really know much about Death to Music but the fact that they care about spreading the word of the underground is really very important and noble, and Industrialized Metal... what can I say, we have been in touch for more than 2 years now and they're always searching for new artist and new bands... that means a lot, besides professionalism.

Do you have some final words to add?
Much respect and greetings to both Death to Music and Industrialized Metal, specially Gerardo! And greetings to the whole European audience!!!
